_Who we are...
The Armartis Ensemble is a flexible chamber ensemble comprising of young musicians who have come together over a collective passion for performing. Exploring lesser known and interesting arrangements of more popular repertoire, we like to make ourselves musically accessible to all, whether it be performing music in various guises and combinations to the highest standard or leading educational outreach projects. Founded in 2011, the ensemble's current members have all studied or currently study at the Royal College of Music or Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London under scholarships. Collectively they have had much experience of chamber music and playing in orchestras and ensembles including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Konzerthausorchester Berlin and the Royal Ballet Sinfonia. |
